Pet medication reminders. A clearer shared routine.
Organize prescribed care with a named caregiver, a reminder, and a record of completed tasks.
Keep responsibility and instructions together
For a household sharing prescribed pet care, clear responsibility matters. Team Pet supports assigned medicine tasks, reminders, and activity history so the people helping can coordinate the routine.
Use the current written instructions from your veterinarian. Keep the original prescription label and directions available; this page and the app do not determine treatment, calculate doses, or verify administration.
Separate scheduled care from completed care
Assign one caregiver to each task. Before acting, check the existing record and the veterinarian’s instructions. Record the actual completion afterward, rather than when an alert arrives or the medicine is prepared.
If the assigned caregiver becomes unavailable, make a direct handoff and confirm who is taking over. A reminder on several phones should not result in several people administering the same medicine.
Know what to do when the record is unclear
For a missed dose, uncertain administration, suspected error, or a health concern, contact your veterinarian for advice. Do not guess or repeat a dose based on a blank task entry. Keep urgent concerns out of the ordinary reminder queue.
Our blank medication log offers a paper record for a plan supplied by your veterinarian. For background on communication errors, see the FDA’s veterinary medication safety guidance.
Questions about medication tasks
Does Team Pet tell me what dose to give?
No. Use the medication and dose prescribed by your veterinarian. Team Pet is an organizational tool, not a prescribing or dosing service.
What if I cannot tell whether medicine was given?
Contact the assigned caregiver and your veterinarian for instructions. Do not infer administration from a reminder or guess a replacement dose.
